NEWS is a software system which can be used to calculate both complex dispersal situations and warning and hazard areas according to NATO standard ATP-45. news is currently deployed as the WMD evaluation module in the German Air Force's new Surface-to-Air-Missile Operation Centre (SAMOC).

Planning and optimisation of production facilities
tms has decades of experience in modelling, simulation and software development. It was mainly set up for system analyses and technology studies of defence issues. Since 1998, we have also provided this know-how to solve industrial and economic optimisation problems. This has already lead to our completion of several projects, which are listed here as examples.

The aim of this project was to reduce coordination problems in the decentralised production structures by providing the manufacturing cell managers with software which quantitatively assessed the consequences of their alternative actions for them.
